This all day session will allow the coder to practice their skills with ICD-10.  Case Scenarios will be coded in class and reviewed with the group, discussing the associated coding guidelines, conventions and principles.

This class will allow both nursing and therapy staff to increase their productivity with coding for ICD-10 and will help participants assess areas where more improvement/ more practice is needed.

The complexity of the ICD-10 coding requires coding specific body parts, choosing laterality, and defining the 7th character for the encounter episode.  Scenarios will include these details and requirements for code first, and use additional code.

**Previous ICD-10 education is required. Participants will need to bring their ICD-10-CM manuals to class.
